DJs

Disc Jockeys are people who work in the entertainment industry, serving people music all over the world. DJs can be found many places like clubs, special events, and even on the radio. DJ's become well-known based on their style of music, how well their choices flow together, and if they can do special moves such as scratching with their records.

Club DJs can either be hired strictly by one club and work on a regular schedule or they may float from place to place allowing for their music to be heard by a larger number of people. Club DJ's are usually the ones that scratch records, which is shifting the record back and forth in order to make a musical scratching sound. They're music is more genre specific, usually techno or dance mixes.

For special events such as birthday parties or school events, disc jockeys may be hired for a few hours. These types of DJ's usually carry a wide variety of music to be prepared for any occasion. Radio DJ's are hired by the radio station themselves and have to play the music listed by the station. They make take requests sometimes, but usually only on certain programs.
